Hello! I’m Dhiren, and I’m from Mumbai, India. Ever since I can remember, I’ve been fascinated by the idea of creating content and making money online. It all started back in 2003-2004 when a friend introduced me to the concept of running a website and monetizing it through ads. I was instantly intrigued, but at the time, WordPress wasn’t as popular, and the idea of coding was something I wasn’t ready to dive into—though now, I can’t help but wonder what could have been if I’d taken that leap!
After school, I spent a few years working in call centers, where I interacted with people from Australia, the US, and the UK. It was an incredible experience, learning about different cultures, hearing hilarious stories from older generations, and discovering how different life could be outside of India. I remember thinking, “Is one source of income really enough?”
In those days, life in India felt challenging. But after speaking to so many people from around the world, I realized something: the world is always changing, and nothing stays the same. It was heartbreaking to hear people speak about the struggles they faced with finances, like an elderly person who couldn’t survive on their Social Security check, or someone who said, “I’m going to get some bread for the family now, it’s been a while.”
Those conversations made me rethink my path. I wanted more control over my life, and I wanted to create something that would help me grow, regardless of what the future held. That’s when I returned to the idea of making money online. The internet opened up so many possibilities! My friend’s advice from years ago about website ads stuck with me, so I started writing, sharing my experiences, and thinking about how I could build something lasting.
I quickly realized that ads alone weren’t going to cut it. While eBay was popular, I didn’t have products to sell. That’s when I discovered affiliate marketing, and later, the power of social media and SEO. These avenues became my focus, and I haven’t looked back since.
Over the last decade, I’ve seen people go from rags to riches, all thanks to the internet, and I wanted to make sure everyone else (at least those who think like me) can easily access the knowledge of how they, too, can make money online. It’s not easy, and it takes time to mature into a dependable income source, but the key is that it does become an additional income source.
I think of making money online like planting trees. It takes time, but with proper care and nurturing, almost anyone can grow a tree. Sure, it takes patience to reap the rewards, but consistency and perseverance can make the experience incredibly rewarding.
That’s why I created Earningify—a platform where curious minds can learn to create wealth online. I aim to help people plant the seeds now, so that when those seeds mature, the fruits will be as sweet as making money online.
