How to Use the Domain Listing Price Calculator:
Desired Net Profit (DNP):
Enter the amount you want to take home after all commissions and discounts are applied. This is the minimum amount you expect to receive from the sale.Domain Acquisition Cost:
Enter the amount you spent to acquire the domain. This cost will be added to the desired net profit to ensure that your final sale price covers your initial investment in the domain.Select Markup (%):
The markup is used to set a price that ensures you still get your Desired Net Profit (DNP) even after offering a discount. For example, if you select a 20% markup, the calculator will generate a listing price that allows you to offer a 20% discount to potential buyers while still achieving your DNP.
If you don’t want to apply any markup, select 0% (No Markup) from the dropdown, and the listing price will be equal to your DNP.
Select Nameserver:
Choose the marketplace or nameserver you are using for your domain sale. Each marketplace (Atom, Afternic, Sedo) has different commission rates, which will be factored into the final listing price.Afternic Boost (Optional):
If you are using Afternic and want to apply the Afternic Boost feature (which increases commission by an additional 5%), make sure to check the box. If not, leave it unchecked.Click “Calculate Listing Price”:
After entering your DNP, selecting your markup, and choosing the appropriate nameserver, hit the CALCULATE LISTING PRICE button. The table will show you the recommended listing prices for Atom, Afternic, and Sedo.
